Je suis professeur de français depuis 2008 et j’ai enseigné le français à l’université aux Etats-Unis, en Equateur, en Belgique et en France. Je suis diplômée en Français Langue Etrangère (FLE) et en Médias & Communication. Je parle couramment anglais et espagnol.

Après avoir vécu dans différents pays (Italie, Espagne, Hongrie, Royaume-Uni, USA, Nicaragua, Equateur, Autriche) et avoir moi-même vécu la vie d’expatriée, je suis revenue à Paris en 2015 et j’ai fondé My French Lessons Paris tout en étant examinatrice FLE. En 2020, j’ai également fondé My French Lessons Brussels et je propose aujourd’hui avec succès des cours particuliers dans ces deux villes cosmopolites.

Mes cours sont vivants et je les adapte à tous les groupes d’âge et profils : débutants, futurs professeurs de français, expatriés, enfants, touristes, étudiants souhaitant améliorer leur prononciation ou bien comprendre des points de grammaire précis, candidats à la naturalisation, préparation du TEF, TCF, DELF, DALF, etc. J’utilise la méthodologie du niveau de français du CECRL (Cadre Européen Commun de Référence pour les Langues).

J’utilise une grande variété d’outils pour mes cours : manuels de FLE, extraits d’œuvres littéraires, articles, jeux, audios et vidéos… ainsi le cours est toujours enrichissant.

I have studied French with Elsa for several months last year and I can say that she is very much recommended!

Elsa is a friendly and experienced language teacher who clearly enjoys her job. She is patient and encouraging. The lessons are well planned and never boring: Elsa uses a wide selection of different teaching methods, from the standard grammar book to videos and a wide variety of reading and writing exercises, which are both fun and challenging. Most importantly for me, she always adjusted the content to my skill level, noting my strengths and areas needing more support, and focussing attention on my learning needs.

My mother tongue is Italian but after living in the UK for over 20 years I often struggle to avoid translating from English when it comes to sentences’ structure and vocabulary. Elsa has pushed me to speak and “think” in French and explore ways in which I could draw from the commonalities between French and my Italian mother tongue, rather than English.

She will always put you at ease, even when you say something wrong, she will make you feel comfortable in trying and speak and throw yourself into the French language :)  Elsa is very flexible - I have a very unpredictable as I primarily live and work in the UK but spend time in Brussels on a non-regular basis - and she will do both online classes and in person from her home.

Elsa is a great teacher, many thanks for the excellent lessons. Elsa has been very supportive and has helped me make rapid progress thanks to our online lessons. Even though I took French lessons a few years ago, my level was still beginners. I find the individual classes make a big difference as I have the opportunity to speak a lot and ask questions. I used to struggle with grammar but Elsa is very good and patient at explaining. I have also enjoyed the discussions on French culture. Jeg har haft næsten 40 lektioner med Elsa gennem ”My French Lessons”, og jeg kan anbefale alle, der gerne vil forbedre deres franske, at lære sammen med hende. I sin undervisning bruger Elsa forskellige værktøjer og metoder til at forbedre både mundtlige og skriftlige færdigheder. Hun har altid fokus på individuelle behov, og undervisningen er struktureret omkring aktuelle og spændende emner. Jeg lærer mere sammen med Elsa, end jeg har gjort på andre franskkurser. Jeg synes derfor, at man med individuelle lektioner får ”fuld valuta for pengene”, og jeg har tænkt mig at fortsætte, indtil jeg ikke længere har brug for undervisning.
