Jouw weg naar vloeiendheid

Ik geef sinds 2008 Frans als vreemde taal. Ik heb Frans gegeven in de Verenigde Staten, Ecuador en Parijs. Ik ben afgestudeerd in het Frans als vreemde taal en in de informatie- en communicatiewetenschappen. Ik spreek vloeiend Engels en ben tweetalig in het Spaans.

Na in verschillende landen (Italië, Spanje, Hongarije, de VS, Nicaragua en Ecuador) te hebben gewoond en het leven van een expat te hebben ervaren, kwam ik terug naar Parijs en woonde ik nu in het 5ème arrondissement. In 2015 heb ik My French Lessons opgericht werkte en FLE-examinator was. Vanaf dat moment bied ik privélessen aan voor een persoonlijker collegegeld. In September 2020 ben ik naar Brussel verhuisd en ik ben blij mijn diensten aan te bieden aan studenten.

Door privélessen te nemen, leert u sneller in een vriendelijke sfeer. Ik zal tijdens de training rekening houden met uw behoeften en doelstellingen.

Mijn lessen zijn levendig en gericht op alle doelgroepen: beginners, toekomstige leraren Frans, expats, kinderen van expats, toeristen, studenten die hun uitspraak willen verbeteren of specifieke grammaticale punten willen begrijpen, naturalisatiekandidaten, TEF-voorbereiding, TCF, DELF, DALF, ENZ.

Het niveau van mijn studenten gaat van A1 naar C2. Ik geef studenten van alle continenten les.

Ik houd rekening met de Franse niveaus van het ERK (Common European Framework of Reference) en bouw een volledig gepersonaliseerde cursus voor elke student.

Ik gebruik een grote verscheidenheid aan tools voor mijn lessen: FLE-leerboeken (Alter ego, Progressive grammar, Progressive fonetics, …), fragmenten uit literaire werken (romans, poëzie, theater), persartikelen, games, audio en video … dus elke cursus is verrijkend.

I have studied French with Elsa for several months last year and I can say that she is very much recommended! Elsa is a friendly and experienced language teacher who clearly enjoys her job. She is patient and encouraging. The lessons are well planned and never boring: Elsa uses a wide selection of different teaching methods, from the standard grammar book to videos and a wide variety of reading and writing exercises, which are both fun and challenging. Most importantly for me, she always adjusted the content to my skill level, noting my strengths and areas needing more support, and focussing attention on my learning needs. My mother tongue is Italian but after living in the UK for over 20 years I often struggle to avoid translating from English when it comes to sentences’ structure and vocabulary. Elsa has pushed me to speak and “think” in French and explore ways in which I could draw from the commonalities between French and my Italian mother tongue, rather than English. She will always put you at ease, even when you say something wrong, she will make you feel comfortable in trying and speak and throw yourself into the French language 🙂 Elsa is very flexible - I have a very unpredictable as I primarily live and work in the UK but spend time in Brussels on a non-regular basis - and she will do both online classes and in person from her home. If you want to learn or improve your French in Brussels, Elsa is the teacher who will get you there.

Elsa is a great teacher, many thanks for the excellent lessons. Elsa has been very supportive and has helped me make rapid progress thanks to our online lessons. Even though I took French lessons a few years ago, my level was still beginners. I find the individual classes make a big difference as I have the opportunity to speak a lot and ask questions. I used to struggle with grammar but Elsa is very good and patient at explaining. I have also enjoyed the discussions on French culture. The homework exercices have also helped me adress my weaknesses. I recommend strongly.

Jeg har haft næsten 40 lektioner med Elsa gennem ”My French Lessons”, og jeg kan anbefale alle, der gerne vil forbedre deres franske, at lære sammen med hende. I sin undervisning bruger Elsa forskellige værktøjer og metoder til at forbedre både mundtlige og skriftlige færdigheder. Hun har altid fokus på individuelle behov, og undervisningen er struktureret omkring aktuelle og spændende emner. Jeg lærer mere sammen med Elsa, end jeg har gjort på andre franskkurser. Jeg synes derfor, at man med individuelle lektioner får ”fuld valuta for pengene”, og jeg har tænkt mig at fortsætte, indtil jeg ikke længere har brug for undervisning. Kæmpe anbefaling.
